Sunday
After breakfast, you’ll undertake a shorter walk around the pretty limestone dales of the White Peak before stopping for your packed lunch. The walk will be completed at approximately 3pm. You’ll head to a local tea room for afternoon refreshments before departing for home.
Please Note: Whilst every effort is made to keep to the above schedule, the weather conditions, could mean slight amendments may have to be made to the itinerary at very short notice. -
The walk will be taken at a gentle pace and will include plenty of short rest stops and photo breaks. The Peak District is very undulating with lots of ups-and-downs and the moorlands in places can be quite boggy with the infamous peat bogs. The dales in the White Peak can be slippy when wet as limestone is a smoother rock underfoot so it may be advisable to use trekking poles for stability.
