Kilimanjaro Immunisations
Hi Team,
It’s advised that you start immunisations for your trip 3-4 months before departure.
Book an appointment with your GP or physician and they’ll be able to provide an up to date lust of vaccinations.
Some GP’s will be able to provide all the vaccinations, some won’t and you’ll be advised on the location of the closest travel clinic.
Full and up to date details of the required vaccinations can be found on the NHS website –
www.fitfortravel.nhs.uk/destinations/africa/united-republic-of-tanzania.aspx
Personally I would suggest going for the following, but take advice from the doctor.
PLEASE NOTE!
Although we try to keep up with the latest vaccinations and advise accordingly, It’s the responsibility of the traveller to check with your GP or travel clinic. Without certain vaccinations border control will not let you into the country. The Tanzanian government have been known to change the criteria at the last minute.
