Day 5 – 32 days in HaRVey the camper

Saturday 4th August 2018

5.30 wake up call to catch the 6.19 sunrise on my 4 mile run.
I managed to see the sun rise and set today, love it when that happens.

After a quick stop in Belgium, it was south to Thiepval and a visit to the memorial of the missing during the Somme offensive of 2016, 12000 Soilders are listed and 19,000 died on the first day! Mind blowing.
I watched the rerun of the channel 4 docu-film ‘the somme’ the other day and thought it be an idea to visit where was based, Dantzig Alley.

First I stopped to see a mine crater left after it was detonated at 07:28 on July 1st 2016!

I then spent a little time to ponder and watch the sun set over ‘Danzig Alley Cemetery’.
Then onto my over night stopover to watch the ISS pass overhead.
Also, I appear to have a mozi in the van tonight ??
